The State Coordination Rescue Centre (SMRCC GEORGIA) is based in the Maritime Transport Agency in Batumi and is responsible for the coordination of all maritime distress and safety incidents within the Maritime Search and Rescue Region of Georgia. The Harbour Master's offices in the ports of Batumi, Poti and Kulevi are designated as Rescue Sub-Centres for the areas up to 12 nautical miles from the respective ports. - - Telemedical Assistance Service: Maritime Medical Centre provide assistance.
