MRCC POS is situated at the Maritime Operations Command Centre (MOCC), Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard Headquarters, Staubles Bay, Trinidad and Tobago. Vessels in distress or otherwise requiring assistance or for the passage of information should call via telephone or radio either the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (9YA Operations) or Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard Control (9YA) or North Post Radio Trinidad (9YL) for assistance.
North Post radio maintains a continuous listening watch on 2182 kHz and VHF 16 for distress calls and can be called via DSC.
